IEA Workshop on Energy Storage: Issues and Opportunities

This workshop is part of a series investigating strategic and crosscutting energy technology and policy issues identified by the IEA Committee on Energy Research and Technology (CERT). The aim of the workshop is to share research experiences, best practices, and policy in the field of energy storage. Topics to be discussed include: bridging the gap between application requirements and scientific and technical possibilities; industry and market views from country experts; national and international strategies and plans; and discussion of the key challenges and coordination opportunities.
