The Regional Outreach of the Intergovernmental Committee of Experts on Sustainable Development Financing (ICESDF) to the Africa Region will take place in Addis Ababa, Ethopia, and is organized by the UN Economic Commission of Africa (UNECA), in collaboration with the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) and the UN Non-governmental Liaison Service (NGLS). The organizers note that the two-day event will garner the views of African stakeholders, including civil society and the private sector, considering that the success of ICESDF will depend on its ability to fully capture and integrate Africa's financing needs to ensure its report constitutes a positive and constructive input into the subsequent inter-governmental negotiation process.
