This high-level outreach meeting is co-hosted by the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) and Indonesia's Ministry of Finance. 'Sustainable Development Financing: Perspectives from Asia and the Pacific' will bring together public and private sector figures from more than 30 countries to share their views on a financing strategy for achieving sustainable development in the region. It will also feed into the ongoing outreach by the Intergovernmental Committee of Experts on Sustainable Development Financing (ICESDF). Invited participants include finance ministers, central bank governors, executives of major financing institutions, experienced practitioners from the private sector and experts from the academia.
