The 2014 Meteorology Divisional Meeting (METDIV2014) of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), which takes place once a decade, will be held 7-18 July 2014, in part conjointly with the 15th Session of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) Commission for Aeronautical Meteorology (CAeM-XV). The agenda for the meeting covers: supporting the “One Sky” concept through the enhancement of meteorological service for international air navigation; improving the safety and efficiency of international air navigation through enhanced meteorological service provision; integrating meteorological information exchange developments into the future system-wide information management environment; institutional issues; and standards, recommended practices and procedures. METDIV2014 will develop recommendations for guiding future work on improving meteorological services for international air navigation over the next decade.
