World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought is celebrated annually on 17 June. In 2020, the global observance event, hosted by Korea Forest Service (KFS), will take place online, with a full-day program featuring a variety of events.

The events will include a high-level panel on the theme, 'Is it time for a new contract for nature?'
