This high-level event will bring together representatives from environmental organizations, industry and government to explore the decarbonization of the world’s emissions “blindspots” and the role carbon capture and storage (CCS) in addressing the climate crisis.

The event is organized by the Global CCS Institute, an international think tank, backed by governments, companies and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), whose mission is to accelerate the deployment of CCS within an energy transition that reduces emissions to net zero by mid-century.

The event is part of Climate Week NYC 2019.
