Green Growth and Sustainable Development Forum 2014

The 2014 Green Growth and Sustainable Development (GGSD) Forum is organized by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) under the theme ‘Addressing the social implications of green growth'. The 2014 Forum will focus on distributional consequences of implementing green growth strategies and their impact on employment, income and skills. It will explore how governments can design policy frameworks to address distributional consequences, as an essential step in the transition to green growth, and the potential impacts of green growth policies on labor markets, households and income. The Forum will also consider: relevant indicators for measuring progress; energy sector reforms; skills for green growth; and social protection and redistribution policies for green growth. The Forum aims to enable OECD Committee delegates, experts, businesses and civil society to exchange experiences, identify knowledge gaps and identify policy tools and best practices.
