This Google+ Hangout will celebrate the one year anniversary of the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD or Rio+20) by bringing together a high-level panel of participants who were involved in facilitating the discussions and realizing agreement on the Rio+20 Outcome Document, 'The Future We Want'. The event will include Wu Hongbo, Under-Secretary-General, the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA), individuals involved in the UN General Assembly's (UNGA) Open Working Group (OWG) on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and representatives from the Major Groups. Nikhil Seth, Division for Sustainable Development (DSD), will moderate the event. Participants can submit questions in advance to @SustDev using #SDinAction or post questions on the Sustainable Development Knowledge Platform Facebook page.
