The aim of this workshop is to identify the current gaps on soil research globally and discuss the formulation of a joint plan of action for GSP Pillar 3, which focuses on the promotion of “targeted soil research and development focusing on identified gaps and priorities and synergies with related productive, environmental and social development actions”. It is anticipated that a key outcome from this workshop will be the establishment of a working group tasked with the formulation of this plan of action with inputs from different regional actors.
