The Global Dialogue on Family Farming is part of a series of events focusing on family farming as part of the International Year of Family Farming (IYFF). It will bring together high-level government representatives, family farmers, CSOs, development agencies, academia and the private sector to take stock of the momentum created during the IYFF and discuss next steps for a pro-family farming agenda for action after the official conclusion of the IYFF. The event will consider recommendations from a series of regional consultations on family farming held throughout the Year. It will also consider outcomes from the Forum on Communication for Development and Community Media for Family Farming, which will take place immediately before the Global Dialogue.
