Hosted by Costa Rica's Ministry of Environment, Energy and Telecommunications (MINEAT), with support from the Organization of American States (OAS), Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), Latin American Development Bank (CAF), Central American Bank for Economic Integration (BCIE), the Energy and Climate Partnership for the Americas (ECPA) and others, the first-ever Geothermal Congress for Latin America and the Caribbean (GEOLAC 2012) will gather regional stakeholders to debate, analyze and explore the future of geothermal development in the region.
