Organized by the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), this workshop will provide an opportunity to discuss: existing mechanisms of the CBD and how they could be used to strengthen implementation; experiences and lessons learned from other conventions and processes; and further elements for a review process that could be developed. The workshop aims to inform the first session of the Subsidiary Body on Implementation to be held from 2-6 May 2016.
