The Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) Subregional Headquarters for the Caribbean will host a two-day meeting of around 30 experts on economic modeling to examine the methodological issues in modelling the macroeconomic impacts of climate change in the Caribbean. Participants will be apprised of the initiatives on econometric modeling that have already been employed in the Caribbean and assess their limitations and strengths.
