This event is to themed “Solar Power: Prospects, Challenges and Opportunities in the Mekong Region,” and will serve as a platform for renewable energy governmental and non-governmental EEP partners and other stakeholders to discuss increasing the integration of solar energy into regional development plans and projects. The EEP Mekong is funded by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland and the Nordic Development Fund. It aims at supporting wider provision and use of renewable energy and combating climate change in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Viet Nam.
