The objective of this meeting, which will be convened by the UN Environment Programme, is to initiate discussions on the themes of justice, governance and law in preparation for an outcome document of the World Congress, which will be submitted to the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD, or Rio+20) immediately after the Congress concludes.
