The World Health Organization and the UN Environment Programme, in partnership with the Government of Gabon, are organizing the First Inter-ministerial Conference for Health and Environment in Africa. The main objective of the conference is to secure political commitment for catalyzing the policy, institutional and investment changes required to reduce environmental threats to health, in support of sustainable development.
