This first informal consultation on the Ministerial Declaration of the 2016 session of the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) is expected to consider potential elements for the draft Declaration. Possible elements were suggested by the Co-facilitators, Gillian Bird, Permanent Representative of Australia, and Gustavo Meza-Cuadra, Permanent Representative of Peru, in a document circulated to UN Member States on 13 June. The co-facilitators intend to provide a draft Ministerial Declaration on 20 or 21 June 2016.
