This event is being organized by the African Development Bank (AfDB), in partnership with the UN Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), African Union Commission (AUC), UN Environment Programme (UNEP) and the UNEP Regional Office for Africa (UNEP-ROA). It will be held as a side event during the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD, or Rio+20) and will focus on long-term financing for sustainable development and the transition towards a green economy in Africa.
