The Fifth Regional Platform for Low Emission Development Strategies in Latin America and the Caribbean (LEDS LAC) Regional Workshop themed 'Moving Towards a Resilient and Low-Emission Development: Implementing the Paris Agreement' will be held in Panama City, Panama, from 26-28 September 2016. Part of the 2016 Latin America and Caribbean Climate Week, the workshop will take place back-to-back with the tenth Latin American and Caribbean Carbon Forum (LACCF). Participants will discuss, among others: implementation of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and low-emission development strategies (LEDS); adaptation and mitigation strategies; and rural and urban resilience.
