The Strategic Approach to International Chemicals Management (SAICM) Secretariat is organising this meeting in collaboration with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). The meeting aims to review progress and provide guidance on implementation of SAICM, identify priorities, exchange experiences and share information on activities undertaken at the national and regional levels, review and provide input to the draft document on the Overall Orientation and Guidance to facilitate achievement of the 2020 goal of sound chemicals management, and to consult EU and JUSSCANZ countries on preparations for the upcoming second meeting of the Open-ended Working Group and the fourth session of the International Conference on Chemicals Management (ICCM 4).
