Fifth Caribbean Conference on Comprehensive Disaster Management: Strengthening Partnerships for Resilience

The Caribbean Conference on Comprehensive Disaster Management is the instrument for promoting knowledge dissemination in the areas of risk reduction, disaster preparedness and response, and adaptation to climate change in the Caribbean region. This Conference provides the platform for dialogue on initiatives and issues to advance the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) agenda and for measuring progress in the region within the context of the Enhanced CDM Strategy and Programming Framework 2007-2012. CDM is the regional contribution to the Hyogo Framework for Action 2005-2015, for global action in disaster risk reduction. The CDM Conference is a regional event of the International Strategy for Disaster Reduction (ISDR) global platform.
