This seminar, organized by the Nordic Council of Ministers in cooperation with the European Environment Agency and its Topic Centre on Sustainable Consumption and Production, aims to increase global awareness about the need to measure and assess global environmental impacts caused directly and indirectly by consumption. During the seminar, experiences will be shared on how to promote sustainable consumption patterns and lifestyles that can stimulate a green economy and provide knowledge for policy makers and others involved in the UN Commission on Sustainable Development (CSD) negotiations.
