The Expert Group Meeting will discuss priorities for regional collaboration on statistics development in the Asia-Pacific region, with a view toward effective monitoring and accountability for progress toward goals in the post-2015 agenda. The meeting takes place in preparation for the Fourth Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) Committee on Statistics. The event will also launch the Statistical Yearbook for Asia and the Pacific 2014.
