This side event is being organized during the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD, or Rio+20), by the UN Foundation, in partnership with the Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves, Practical Action, Carbon War Room, the World Health Organization (WHO) and UN-Energy. It will showcase how a global collaborative effort under the auspices of the UN Secretary-General’s Sustainable Energy for All initiative, can accelerate progress in achieving universal energy access by 2030.
