Among other agenda items, at their 19-20 March meeting of the Council, EU leaders will set out further orientations in view of building an Energy Union based on the work done by the Commission and in various Council configurations. The focus is expected to include enhancing energy security, completing the EU internal energy market, and pursuing efforts for more renewable energies and increasing energy efficiency.
