This event will bring together representatives from the UN, the private sector and civil society and other stakeholders to discuss how to inspire and monitor private sector contributions to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Participants will discuss: initiatives that promote responsible business conduct and have the potential to contribute to sustainable development; tools to measure private sector contributions to the SDGs; and the use of business data in the follow-up and review process. The event includes presentations, a panel discussion and a question-and-answer session. The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and the Government of France are hosting the event, which will convene on the sidelines of the UN Summit for the adoption of the post-2015 development agenda.
