At its eighth session, the Intergovernmental Technical Working Group (ITWG) on Animal Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture (AnGR) of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO) Commission on Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture (CGRFA) will address, among other issues, the preparation of the second report on the state of the world's animal genetic resources for food and agriculture, and the implementation and update of the Global Plan of Action for Animal Genetic Resources.
