The Eighth Session of the Commission on Phytosanitary Measures (CPM), the governing body of the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC), will address, among other issues: progress towards the establishment of a robust international standard setting and implementation programme; sustainable IPPC implementation; improved phytosanitary capacity of IPPC members; the IPPC implementation and review and support system; and effective dispute settlement systems.
