In the eighth session of the CRC, the Committee will review the draft Decision Guidance Documents for industrial chemicals: perfluorooctane sulphonate (PFOS) and its salts and precursor PFOSF, pentabromodiphenyl ether commercial mixture, octabromodiphenyl ether commercial mixture and the severely hazardous pesticide formulation: Gramoxone Super (paraquat dichloride, formulated as emulsifiable concentrate of 276 g active ingredient/L or above, corresponding to paraquat ion at or above 200 g/L). Two pesticides, dicofol and trichlorfon are also on the agenda of this year’s meeting. In line with the process for collecting information on ongoing international trade adopted by the Chemical Review Committee at its first meeting, countries and other interested parties are invited to submit information on ongoing trade and use of the above-listed chemicals.
