Organized by the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), this regional workshop will address issues related to: the Nagoya Protocol on access and benefit-sharing (ABS); the Strategic Plan for Biodiversity 2011-2020 and national biodiversity strategies and action plans (NBSAPs); review of implementation of the CBD Strategy for Resource Mobilization; and innovative financing for biodiversity and ecosystem services.
