After its first edition in 2010, the second chapter of the Doha Carbon and Energy Forum will also be jointly organized by Qatar Petroleum, Qatar Foundation and ExxonMobil under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser under the directive of His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Saleh Al-Sada Minister of Energy & Industry. The conference will be held at the Qatar National Convention Centre from 11-13 November 2013. DCEF 2013 will seek to reinforce its role as a leading platform for engaging experts in interactive workshop round table discussions of the following topics: carbon capture and storage, climate change, energy efficiency, and solar energy. Consideration of each topical area, during its workshop round table discussions, will examine the topic from the perspectives of research and technology development, industrial development and application, and policy and regulatory framework.
