This working meeting will assess progress made by member States of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) in defining their national action plans, as well as their national energy efficiency, renewable energy and energy access targets in the context of implementing national-level Sustainable Energy for All (SE4ALL) Action Agendas. The meeting will build on the kick-off workshop held in March 2014 where member States adopted the framework for the development and implementation of the region's renewable energy and energy efficiency policies. Sessions will also focus on building participants' capacities in scenario development and monitoring and evaluation. Participants will include representatives of ministries of energy, national consultants and international experts. The meeting is being organized by the ECOWAS Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ECREEE) and its partners.
