This invitation-only joint workshop on renewable energy cost data to support policy-making will be organized by the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) and Italian energy services operator Gestore dei Servizi Energetici (GSE), a founding member of IRENA's Renewable Costing Alliance. Topics covered during the one-day workshop include: the importance of systematic cost and performance data for renewables; recent cost and performance data for renewables, and related challenges for policy-makers; regulatory models for ongoing data collection; and data needs of different technologies and markets for policy-making, including efficient data collection.
