The arrangements to establish the list of speakers during the plenary session at the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD, or Rio+20) were agreed at the 22nd meeting of the UNCSD Bureau, on 26 January 2012. The deadline for States to inform the UNCSD Secretariat of their level of participation was originally 9 March, but has been extended to 19 March. The list of speakers then will be established through the drawing of lots at a meeting in late March.
