This International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture (ITPGR) Consultation will be organized back-to-back with the XXIII International Plant and Animal Genome Conference and will be followed, on 9 January 2015, by a series of meetings and presentations under the umbrella of the DivSeek Initiative. Its objectives are, among others, to conduct a review of on-going relevant initiatives, identify gaps in the existing information systems and recognize best practices and methodologies for managing information on a global scale.
