The 39th Session of the Codex Committee on Pesticide Residues (CCPR) will convene in China, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture of China. Participants will discuss Draft Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs) for more than 30 pesticides proposed by Joint FAO/WHO Meetings on Pesticide Residues (JPMR) for pesticide in food and feed. The CCPR discusses and approves MRLs based on recommendations by JMPR, and then sends for final approval by CAC as Codex MRLs.
