The UN Development Programme (UNDP), the World Bank and partners will organize a workshop on aid effectiveness in the area of public expenditure related to climate change, bringing 100 government officials and development partners from the Asia Pacific, Africa and Latin America regions to Bangkok. Particpants at the three-day workshop, titled “Climate Public Expenditure and Institutional Reviews: Workshop on Past Experience and the Way Forward” and convening from 10-12 September 2012, will work on recommendations for peer support and collaboration and produce guidelines for a new “Climate Change Public Expenditure Review Sourcebook”.
