The Climate and Clean Air Conference 2025 will focus on the theme, ‘Now We Can: Supercharging Action on Super Pollutants and Air Pollution on the Road to COP 30’. The event aims to drive accelerated solutions for mitigating super pollutants and safeguarding our planet’s future.
The Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC) and the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) will host the conference, which will bring together government representatives, intergovernmental organizations, donors, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), the private sector, finance institutions, and other stakeholders.
The Conference will focus on nationally determined contributions (NDCs) 3.0 as investment plans and explore how sectoral policies and gender equity can drive action and mitigation. Sectoral sessions will discuss agriculture, heavy duty vehicles and engines, waste, cooling, and household energy. A Science-Policy Dialogue on Super Pollutants will also convene during the event.
The CCAC is a voluntary international coalition of governments, international organizations, the private sector, and NGOs. It aims to reduce emissions from short-lived climate pollutants (SLCPs), avoid millions of premature deaths, promote food and energy security, and address near-term climate change.
