The Civil Society Innovation Initiative (CSII) is hosting a two-day workshop that will bring together 50 participants, including 20 civil society leaders who have participated in previous CSII workshops, 20 NGO leaders and 10 technology sector leaders. Participants will share ideas across regions and promote support across regional hubs. The event will convene on the sidelines of the UN Summit for the adoption of the post-2015 development agenda. CSII is a multilateral effort led by the US Agency for International Development (USAID), the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), Counterpart International, CIVICUS, Open Society Foundation and the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN). It aims to support, strengthen and connect civil society actors in both open and closing spaces.
