Central Asia Climate Change Conference

The Central Asia Climate Change Conference, organized under the framework of the Climate Adaptation and Mitigation Program for Aral Sea Basin (CAMP4ASB), is a continuation of the World Bank’s initiative for climate change knowledge and information exchange in Central Asia. Themed ‘Building path towards sustainable regional adaptation,’ the conference will bring together representatives from governmental and non-governmental agencies, academia, development partners, multilateral development banks (MDBs), civil society and business companies that work in the area of climate change adaptation in the region and beyond.

The event aims to foster regional dialogue, knowledge and information exchange on adaptation to climate change, including convergence of climate action and the SDGs. It will also explore opportunities for joint actions between international, regional and national stakeholders, and build a common vision towards climate-resilient future.
