Organized by the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), this workshop will provide the opportunity to build and strengthen the capacity of representatives of indigenous and local communities and government officials working on issues related to traditional knowledge, as well as to exchange experiences to advance further national implementation of Article 8(j) and related CBD provisions, particularly Aichi Target 18 on traditional knowledge.
