The sixth Ministerial Meeting of the Carbon Sequestration Leadership Forum (CSLF) will provide policy and technical direction to the organization. The Ministerial is the highest decision-making body of the Forum, which is an international climate change initiative focused on developing cost-effective technologies for the separation and capture of carbon dioxide (CO2) for its transport and long-term safe storage. The initiative focuses on breaking down technical, economic and environmental barriers to improving CO2 capture and sequestration (CCS) technologies. It further promotes awareness and champions legal, regulatory, financial and institutional environments conducive to such technologies.
