The 12th edition of the Carbon Expo, organized by the International Emissions Trading Association (IETA), the World Bank Group and the Fira de Barcelona, will feature over 220 speakers in nine plenary sessions and 27 workshops, in addition to hosting 36 side events. The event will focus on carbon pricing, investors' expectations for the anticipated 2015 global climate change agreement and the transition to a low-carbon economy. Topics to be examined at the Expo's sessions include: Landscapes as a Green Growth Component to Bridge the Global Emissions Gap; Transforming the Energy Sector – The Next Generation of Climate Technologies; EU ETS [Emissions Trading System] Turns 10: A New Beginning?; and Climate Transparency: Comparing and Tracking Progress Toward and Beyond Paris 2015. The fair, held in conjunction with the conference, will host approximately 100 exhibitors displaying new technologies, carbon abatement solutions and information on emissions trading.
