C20 Online Consultation on Inclusive Growth and Employment

The C20 Inclusive Growth and Employment Working Group aims to develop recommendations for the G20 on pursuing linked goals of boosting growth, creating quality jobs and reducing inequality. The online consultation will focus its discussion on five key areas: participation of vulnerable groups, including women and youth; education and employment; accelerating the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and defining the post-2015 development agenda; tackling youth unemployment; and key civil society issues for the G20 around inclusive growth and employment. Caroline Smith, National Employment Services Association (NESA), Australia, and Ricardo Fuentes-Nieva, Oxfam UK, serve as the discussion moderators. This online consultation is one of four that the C20 is conducting to encourage a dialogue between representatives of civil society organizations and political leaders of G20 countries. The UN Development Programme (UNDP) is supporting the C20 Conversations.
