The Bioenergy from Forest Conference will address the future of bioenergy, including the creation of and access to markets worldwide, the use of national forest resources in international business, and the incorporation of forest energy resources into national strategies. Technological issues to be discussed include combustion, boiler technologies, Combined Heat and Power (CHP), and conversion technologies. The conference is scheduled to address, inter alia: sustainability; the COOL Project; the future of bioenergy in Finland; fuel production; biomass combustion and power; and gasification. The final day will give participants an opportunity to take technical tours on fuel production technologies, transport and logistics.
