Africa Day at UNFCCC COP 17 will seek to raise the profile of African climate change and development issues and demonstrate African ownership of the African agenda on climate change and development. It will focus on the theme “Development First,” with sessions addressing “Development first in the context of climate change” and “Climate change economics and finance for Africa.”
