Representatives from the eight Amazon Cooperation Treaty Organization (ACTO) Member States (Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Peru, Suriname, Venezuela) will discuss what is being done in their countries to promote environmentally sustainable community-based tourism in the Amazon, and will formulate proposals for regional cooperation on the issue for ACTO's III Regional Meeting on Tourism, which will convene from 24-25 May 2012 in Georgetown, Guyana.
