The 7th Conference of the Ecosystem Services Partnership (ESP) will convene under the title, 'Local action for the common good'. The conference will focus on the use of ecosystem services at the local level, with a special emphasis on Costa Rica and Latin America. Several EU-funded projects will present their results on Community-Based Ecosystem Management: CiVi.Net, COBRA, EcoADAPT and COMETLA. The Conference is organized by the Ecosystem Services Partnership with Fundación Neotrópica as its local host, and is supported by CATIE, Universidad Nacional, and the International Union for Conservation of Nature – Commission on Ecosystem Management (IUCN-CEM). The program of the Conference consists of a mix of plenary sessions, including keynote and panels; workshops, open topic sessions, special sessions and field trips.
