The fourth meeting of the Article 6.4 Supervisory Body will take place in March 2023 to consider matters relating to the operation of the Article 6.4 mechanism.
The mechanism was established under Article 6.4 of the Paris Agreement “to contribute to the mitigation of greenhouse gas emissions and support sustainable development.” The Supervisory Body was established to oversee the Article 6.4 mechanism under the authority and guidance of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Paris Agreement (CMA) and is fully accountable to it.
