At this session, the Bureau of the International Hydrological Programme (IHP) of the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) will, inter alia: examine the draft Medium-term Strategy for 2014-2021 (37 C/4) and the draft Programme and Budget for 2014-2017 (37 C/5); review recent IHP initiatives including actions in the post-2015 Development Agenda and the International Year of Water Cooperation; and discuss cooperation on freshwater issues with the UN system and other organizations.
